* reform regulation and taxation of charities (differentiate genuine charities from political campaign organizations and crony socialist cabals) and encourage, without subsidizing, mutual benefit associations
* cut immigration/green cards/LPR visas to no more than 175K/year (about what John F. Kennedy thought was reasonable)
* cut O + L + H guest-work visas to no more than 5K/year (total)
* cut F student visas to no more than 10K/year (total) and OPT to 500/year for a term of no more than 3 months
* end visa waivers (everyone must pass a conscientious background investigation, regardless of country of birth or citizenship or most recent residence)
* fence/wall the borders
* terminate/eliminate permission to work from exchange / student exchange / cultural exchange visa programs (you can put on plays, pageants, dance, music, local craftsmanship & industry demonstrations, but not settle in to jobs in hotels, resorts, USA industries, craftsmanship, agriculture, etc.)
* phase out unconstitutional Medicaid & Medicare over 3 years
* phase out the unconstitutional Socialist Insecurity Abomination over 5 years
* end government subsidies for hospitals (and the attached strings)
* end government subsidies for scientific research (except for defense which should cover defense against biological warfare & epidemics)
* repeal regressive income extortion (i.e. repeal 16th amendment; replace with national retail sales tax with hard-cap constitutional top rate of 9.875% structured as a levy on the states)
* revoke the charter of the CFPB and repeal the rest of Dodd-Frank
* revoke the charter of the Federal Reserve System and establish a stable, hard money
* repeal direct election of senators (repeal 17th amendment)
* repeal the unconstitutional Federal Firearms Act and its amendments
* de-fund and repeal the charters of CPB/NPR/PBS
* de-fund the national endowments for arts and humanities and AFI
* de-fund the racist eugenicist Planned Parenthood
* de-fund SBA
* de-fund Export-Import Bank, World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, USAID
* cut foreign aid
* repudiate biased, injust WTO, GATS/TiSA
* re-negotiate or statutorily repudiate/reset GATT & NAFTA
* totally de-fund UN, withdraw membership, and evict them and all their evil spawn from NY and the USA
* cut federal Department of Educationism back to statistical reporting of graduations, diplomas, degrees, and rates thereof (NCES)
* cut Department of Energy by one-third to one-half
* set normal import tariff/duties/taxes to a maximum cap of 9.875%, and MFN to a cap of 8%, dumping penalties to at most 50%, and fraud penalties to at most 120%, eliminate exemptions to bring back burden to between 40% & 65% of all goods and services imported into USA with the aim of reaching an overall weighted average rate of 8%-12.5%
* adopt honest Country of Origin Label requirement for USA products and all imports to USA, requiring readable percentage of origin content for up to top 10 places of origin of parts & materials
* beef up export bans and restrictions for national security and to fight intellectual property robbery and fraud
* cut or eliminate HUD, HHS, NIH, CDCP, NSF; limit and focus their funding and work on constitutional functions & objectives
* cut or eliminate federal highway trust funds & DoT FHA Intelligent Transportation Systems & Amtrak

A nice video by a foreign student (F+OPT) turned H-1B (divyanthj) describing the whole pipe-line and how the bodyshopping scam works, how bodyshoppers help fabricate fake resumes for those in their stables, but written "requirements" have little connection with knowledge & skills actually needed to do the work well. He sketches out a model that involves the end client, a vendor bodyshop and the other end bodyshop (which he calls the "Desi companies"). (And he's wearing a passable dark tech humor T-shirt.) Though he seems unaware that there are UK & USA based bodyshops which are not totally cross-border bodyshops. "End up with sloppy job requirements by the vendors...a few rounds of simple interviews everybody ended up happy... On paper, I was an expert; but in practical sense, I was desperate. The fact that I was an expert on paper and the fact that I was desperate in real life had to be kept separate. They couldn't be integrated and put together because of all the complicated requirements related to the H-1B." This guy might deserve a green card.

"The fact is that the Great Depression, like most other periods of severe unemployment, was produced by government mis-management rather than by any inherent instability of the private economy. "There are 2 more points of difference between the 2 kinds of individualism which are also best illustrated by the stand taken by [John Emerich Edward Dalberg lord Acton] and [Alexis de Tocqueville] by their view on democracy and equality towards trends which become prominent in their time. True individualism not only believes in democracy but can claim that democratic ideals spring from the basic principles of individualism. Yet, while individualism affirms that all government should be democratic, it has no superstitious belief in the omni-competence of majority decisions, and in particular it refuses to admit that 'absolute power may, by the hypothesis of popular origin, be as legitimate as constitutional freedom'. It believes that under a democracy, no less than under any other form of government, 'the sphere of enforced command ought to be restricted within fixed limits'; and it is particularly opposed to the most fateful and dangerous of all current misconceptions of democracy -- the belief that we must accept as true and binding for future development the views of the majority. While democracy is founded on the convention that the majority view decides on common action, it does not mean that what is today the majority view ought to become the generally accepted view -- even if that were necessary to achieve the aims of the majority.
