* cut O + L + H guest-work visas to no more than 5K/year (total)
* cut F student visas to no more than 10K/year (total) and eliminate CPT & OPT (encourage more apprenticeships/internships, co-ops for USA citizens)
* end visa waivers (everyone must pass a conscientious background investigation, regardless of country of birth or citizenship or most recent residence)
* fence/wall the borders
* terminate/eliminate permission to work from exchange / student exchange / cultural exchange visa programs (you can put on plays, pageants, dance, music, local craftsmanship & industry demonstrations, but not settle in to jobs in hotels, resorts, USA industries, craftsmanship, agriculture, etc.)
* phase out unconstitutional Medicaid & Medicare over 3 years
* phase out the unconstitutional Socialist Insecurity Abomination over 5 years
* end government subsidies for hospitals (and the attached strings)
* end government subsidies for scientific research (except for defense which should cover defense against biological warfare & epidemics)
* repeal regressive income extortion (i.e. repeal 16th amendment; replace with national retail sales tax with hard-cap constitutional top rate of 9.875% structured as a levy on the states)
* revoke the charter of the CFPB and repeal the rest of Dodd-Frank
* revoke the charter of the Federal Reserve System and establish a stable, hard money
* repeal direct election of senators (repeal 17th amendment)
* repeal the unconstitutional National Firearms Act and its amendments
* cut federal extortion by at least 2%, cut spending by at least 10% ("mandatory", "discretionary", "on-budget", "off-budget"), & each super-function, function, micro-function, object, etc.)
* de-fund and repeal the charters of CPB/NPR/PBS
* de-fund the national endowments for arts and humanities and AFI
* de-fund the racist eugenicist Planned Parenthood
* de-fund SBA
* de-fund Export-Import Bank, World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, USAID
* cut foreign aid
* repudiate biased, injust WTO, GATS/TiSA
* re-negotiate or statutorily repudiate/reset GATT & NAFTA
* totally de-fund UN, withdraw membership, and evict them and all their evil spawn from NY and the USA
* cut federal Department of Educationism back to statistical reporting of graduations, diplomas, degrees, and rates thereof (NCES)
* cut Department of Energy by one-third to one-half
* set normal import tariff/duties/taxes to a maximum cap of 9.875%, and MFN to a cap of 8%, dumping penalties to at most 50%, and fraud penalties to at most 120%, eliminate exemptions to bring back burden to between 40% & 65% of all goods and services imported into USA with the aim of reaching an overall weighted average rate of 8%-12.5%
* adopt honest Country of Origin Label requirement for all imports to USA, requiring readable percentage of origin content for up to top 10 places of origin of parts & materials
* beef up export bans and restrictions for national security and to fight intellectual property robbery and fraud
* cut or eliminate HUD, HHS, NIH, CDCP, NSF; limit and focus their funding and work on constitutional functions & objectives
* cut or eliminate federal highway trust funds & DoT FHA Intelligent Transportation Systems & Amtrak
* repeal Anti-Impoundment Act

Apple podcasts app client/server bugs persist. Episodes already down-loaded won't play. "Deleting such an episode from the library", followed by fresh down-load attempt results in usual progress indicator... until it indicates progress is complete (or nearly so) with thick rim on progress indicator circle, at which point it stalls, cloud-down-load indicator does not re-appear, & episode won't play. Some new shows/episodes that appear (at the top instead of the bottom where, being chronologically later, they belong !@#%&**+!#, which also means the sorting option needs to offer both chronological & reverse-chronological ordering) will play, but I only dare experiment with shows/episodes for which chronology is irrelevant. But episodes down-loaded before the train-wreck, & episodes I attempted to down-load immediately after, before noticing the disaster, are stuck in limbo. (There should be a re-down-load/refresh-down-load amongst the "white ellipses in blue-filled circle" pop-up menu of options along with "Save Episode", "Share Episode", etc.)
It should also offer binge-listening/-watching multiple episodes of a show in chronological order, as well as strictly chronological & reverse-chronological listening/-watching from the current show&episode, to the next show&episode in release/publication order... or backwards.
Because it (client app? or server or both working together) track episodes already listened-to/watched, the episode listed as available at the top or bottom should be the next according to user's preference. In binge mode, all episodes of the selected show should appear in the preferred order, letting one choose which show from the Shows page/list.
"Synching" multiple devices would require tracking on the server-cluster, the last-played... and shows & episodes "deleted from library" from any synchronized device... always a bit of a mess to manage, and involving more server burden & privacy violation. Ugly & fragile, in my experience.
And now (2021-06-01T20:00) the iPad is all bollixed up, most likely from the excess podcast index. Can't save or edit or e-mail images (to move them off the iPad).

Ha-lelu-yah! Podcast down-loaded before the disaster, re-down-loaded but the progress indicator hung at completion point... finally plays! Apple in-company app/server developers have been at work to positive purpose. Attaboys...
Or perhaps celebration is premature. The next (strictly chronologically) show+episode also hangs, several show+episodes from around 2021-04-29 appear hung mid-down-load with progress indicators circling. But a couple more with thick-circle progress indicators seem to play, so I can at least play & get them moved out of index storage, which may break free the apparent log-jam for the rest. 44 minutes worth here, 20 minutes worth there, 65 minutes worth... each occupies index & notes space somewhere. Or perhaps it is Apple vs. other podcast servers?
Yes! They're starting to break loose. OTOH, if I pause it forgets; if I've finished listening, it seems to properly delete the episode in accord with settings, but after I bop around other apps & return, the deleted episode is back.
And it still won't let me edit (crop) a picture (says "Downloading"), nor to send a picture via e-mail (hangs, saying "Preparing..."), and pictures I told it explicitly to delete (pictures of grocery packages, FCOL) come back.
It says several gigs of storage are free/available for use, so it is not lack of space, but management of available space that is wanting.
Now (2021-06-02T16:35) it has gotten much worse. The latest episode I "deleted from library" & re-down-loaded begins to play, maybe 3-5 seconds, & the player app crashes. Wait a bit. Re-launch. Spin spin spin while it re-builds the backwards/anti-chronological episodes index. Scroll scroll scroll down to the earliest episode. Details. Spin spin spin. Click play... 1, 2, 3, crash. Wait a bit. Re-launch. Blank screen. Spin spin spin while it re-builds the backwards/anti-chronological episodes index. Scroll scroll scroll down, oooh no, doesn't even reach the episode to play next before crashing, but, by gosh & golly, it makes sure to show me info about episodes I wouldn't get to for 3-6 weeks if the rest of life were entirely set aside. !@#%&**+!#!!!

Podcast player is officially toast. Sometimes , not always, in the Photos app, if you select the "Select" option at the upper right, it displays the word "Select" over along the right side, once for every row/date of image files. Then, if you click one of those, it selects every image in that group, but then you can de-select the ones you do not want. Then, if you click the square-with-up-arrow, then it sometimes lets you select e-mail, and then it gives you an e-mail message form with the picture already attached, you can select from a number of image sizes, fill in subject, e-mail addresses, & after a slightly disturbing delay, you get the sent message whoosh... other times it hangs, you take a break, & try, try again.
I know what you are thinking, Maybe it is time to see how far one of these too skinny, intentionally under-batteried things will bounce? Don't do it. Go out in the yard. Garden. Play with the dog or cat. Throw a disk or sphere with the children. Chop out some poison ivy (seems to be the favored ground-cover here). Dig &/or cut down some wild grape vines or greenbrier/Sarsaparilla. Return the snail-box post to the plumb/vertical. Yank or dig some dandelions or thistles or other aggressively invasive native noxious weeds (unless you have cattle, which consider them yummy treats & a life-saver over a long, deep-snow Winter, as "Uncle Bill" Norris, co-founder of Control Data Corporation taught us). Soak up some rays for the vitamin D; feed the horses, & put the drops of Ivermectin/Selamectin on the dogs & cats to protect them from mosquitoes, parasites, & Red Chinese viruses. Both will tweak up your defenses.
